- Watch all your bags and hide your jewelry & other valuables while commuting or walking in public places.

- Place all valuables in the safe of your hotel.

- Avoid poorly lit or overcrowded areas.

- Do not change money in the streets.

- Do not show your room keys in public or leave them on restaurant tables at the swimming pool or other places where they can be easily stolen.

- In restaurants night clubs & bars be careful and check actual prices before you order or enter (your hotel information desk will most likely steer you in the right direction).

- Use the utmost discretion and caution with regards to rented vehicles.

- Ask your hotel information desk for the names of reputable taxi companies and other safety tips.

- Do not leave valuables in your vehicle.

- When you return to your hotel late at night use the main entrance of the hotel. Look around before you enter car parks.

- Be careful about inviting strangers to your room.

- Close the door securely when you are in your room and use all of the locks.

- Do not answer the door in a hotel room without checking who it is. If a person says he or she is an employee call the front desk and ask if someone from their staff should have access to your room and why.
